HowTo Attack Friendly Targets

Tools Needed:
WPE Pro
World Of Warcraft

How To: [Exemplified with a mage]

1- Open WPE Pro

2- Give WPE Pro full permitions with Permedit

3- Select WoW.exe on the WPE Pro (Name may be different in some private servers)

4- Go to site http://www.thotbott.com

5- U will need to have any buff in your character, i will use Arcane Intellect, Search for Arcane Intellect on the site

6- Select your spell with the correct rank

7- In the link u have now there will be some numbers in the end, in my Arcane Intellect appears 27126


8- Open Windows calculator, go to View and to Scientific

9- Click on "Dec" and write the number in the Calculator, in my example its "27126"


10- Click on "Hex" and it will appear differently, in my example its "69F6"

11- Switch numers like in my example, from "69F6" to "F669"

12- Now you have your buff ID, now do the point 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 but to the spell you want to use, in my example, Arcane Blast, the ID is "F376"

13- Go to WPE and create a new filter, put a name on it and in Search go to Offset 007, put on it the Arcane Intellect ID "F669" and on Modify, Offset 007 too put the Arcane Blast ID "F376", Apply, Enable the Filter and turn ON the Filters


14- Go to game and try to "Buff" some friendly target with it, players will not be able to hit you, Npc's will hit you of course.

15- After you use the "Buff" you probably will NEED to press Esc, because it bugs the skill, after pressing Esc you will be able to use the "Buff" to hit someone again.

Other Uses For Mages:
If you use a spell on you, you will hit your self.
You can polymorph your self and others, what its great for regens.

Tested On:
○ WoW 2.2 Private Servers Last Antrix Version - 8/10/2007 (DD/MM/YYYY)
○ WoW 2.1.3 Private Last Mangos Servers Version - 8/10/2007 (DD/MM/YYYY)

Note:
THIS IS FIXED ON LIVE SERVERS!

Note 2: After u use a spell / skill that was changed in the WPE, it may says when u try to cast any other skill again that "Another Action its Already in Progress", if that happens just click ESC and u will be able to cast / use skills again.

Tip:
Very good tip for who is using this:
As u know after using a skill in other button that the original skill (example using Backstab to cast Ambush) u need to press ESC or u will not be able to cast, so, make a macro like the following example:

/stopcasting
It will much faster than using the skill and clicking esc.

lol ya its fixed,(you cant set it up) but i still have pyroblast and bunches more spells i shouldnt have, they still work for me.

note: i havnt updated my patches, that """""might"""" be why it still works

hi,
i have used WpePro a couple of years ago, and was very good with it.
but now it doesnt seem te work annymore, im using wow v2.3.0 and i use wpe pro correctly

*open wpe pro
*give wpe grand permission
*open wow
*select wow on wpe
*select filtre and press OK

when use the spell i have converted, i can see that im casting but i dont see a castingbar and nothing happends. sometimes wow says ´´cant learn that spell orsomething ´´

i tried te hack items but the wow keeps on saying ´´you dont own that item ´´ so i though ill try to hack an item i do own, but even then it keeps on saying ´´you dont own that item´´


can annybody tell what im doing wrong.

Another good way to convert IDs to Hex easily is using Cheat Engine, but you need to grant permission to Wow.exe before opening it or you will get an error message from blizzard ^^

yap the prog is awesome i tested this on 233 and works just fine with the spells in the example but with anything else.. so i was wandering why this doesn't work when i try to replace a fireball rank 1 with a pyroblast rank 5

Hey (it's my first post), when I try to cast "Arcane Intellect" on ally it says "Invalit target", so same as tryin to just attack him.

Hey i have a question 2 wpe pro,
i want 2 cast pyroblast if i cast Arcane Intellect, but it doesn´t work and if i try other codes its the same
the private server i play on is overhill-circle, if you wants to try klick here

it would be nice if someone can help me

Arcane intellect (arc int) is a spell that gives extra int. It shouldn't effect your casting, if it is, remove it by right clicking on the buff. If your talking about instant casting pyroblast you need to use [Presence of mind]. That makes the next spell cast that has a cast time of less then 10 sec instant.

Nice guide^^,i have follow your steps but i have try it with items istead of spells.
I think i done all correctly but when i try to buy the item the game say: "you dont own that item".
Someone know where is the problem or if i done something wrong?
I tested it on free server.

I think it's fixed. Because stuff like this usually gets fixed with the next WoW-Version.
