I have done exactly as said above, but when i open WoW with WoWME i get this FATAL ERROR #132.
I am changing gnome to UD.. My patch is called patch-5.MPQ and contains the folder CHARACTER/Gnome/Male/ and within the folder, there is all the undead model files, renamed to the same as the gnome model files.
The files is, just as you say in the Data folder.

Why am i getting this error?

My WoW folder is on my C-Drive. And i am running Windows Vista Buisness btw.

If you've done everything correctly in the way it's been outlined above, you really shouldn't be getting any errors loading MPQ archives with Wowme.exe.

Please give specific details about what you are doing with all individual files in the Model Edit Fix download if you are having issues. Otherwise it's kinda hard to troubleshoot with no direct insight into your hard drive.

Okay, lemme try to explain.

I downloaded the WoWME rar folder and extracted it in my WoW folder on the C-drive (C:\World of Wacraft\)

Now, i wanted to change my gnome male into an male undead.

So i opened the common.MPQ file in MPQEditor and copied all the undead models out to my desktop. I renamed all the models to the gnome filenames.
After that i opened the patch.MPQ and copied the male undead model (.M2) out to my desktop and replaced it with the original undead male model (.M2) from the common.MPQ file. Now i made a new MPQ file with my MPQEditor. In the files i put the folders:
CHARACTER\Gnome\Male\
and placed all the files that i had extracted and renamed to the gnome names, in that folder.
I saved the MPQ file as patch-5.MPQ and placed it in the Data folder.
And now i of course thought that i had made a fake patch that told WoW to change all gnome models to some new one's (which actually are undead).
Then i tried to open WoW with WoWME and it gave me the FATAL ERROR #132. Something about an ACCESS_VIOLATION or something.

I might think that i have done something wrong with the .MPQ file i made myself. But what did i do wrong?
Appreciate you answering this fast btw

The file itself and the changes it makes to your graphical interface are (apparently) undetectable by Blizzard. What you do with them, however, can result in detection.

Model-changing to get an advantage, such as world building which involves remodelling/remapping the game world, would be noticed by players if you were hovering 20ft over WSG on your self-created platform for example.

Model-changing stealth effects so they display bright pink might be detected if other players noticed you winning the fight against multiple rogues attempting to sap you several times in PvP

Model-changing from a dwarf model to blood elf is aesthetic, doesn't give you an advantage and as such will go unnoticed. Super-sizing your mount model file will not give you an elevated viewpoint when on it, nor will it make it go faster.
