Model Edit Fix 2.3.3

This is the Model edit fix for live servers 2.3.3. It allows you to perform model changes. It disables a sort of model changing protection. Good luck.

I haven't tested it yet, please confirm in the thread.
The filesize isn't different from the old one, so I think this file is legit.

Tested it and it does indeed work for patch 2.3.3 level

I'm guessing it's just a small change in the coding they do with each x.x.x patch, same file appearance as the one I mentioned here: Getting Modelchanging to work after Patch 2.3

dave158 is an unknown quantity at this point
Does not work for me.
My WoW Folder is on the C:-Drive.
When I delete or rename the file "wowme.cfg" WoW starts, but, logic, without changed models.
If the file exists, a "WoW.exe" pops up in the Task Manager, loads 25MB into my RAM and close.
When I name the mpq-files that I want to get into the game "patch-3.mpq" etc. WoW does not start. Not with the normal .exe and also not with the WoWME.exe.
Can anybody help my or say, what I´ve done wrong or forgot?

The way WoW ME worked for me is this:
- Have the modelchanging files in your data folder. I think patch-#.mpq where # = 5/6/7 increases the likelihood of it working.
- One of the component files of the WoWME folder, when opened in text editor software, will appear blank. Type in the name(s) of the MPQ files (including the .mpq) you wish to load, then save it.
- Extract all the relevant items from the WoWME folder to your main WoW directory on the C drive.
- Load WoW with wowme.exe, then when it hits the login screen, press F8 before logging in. This will execute the model edit fix
- Log in and it should work out.
- If not, or it crashes along the way, you will probably need to re-install WoW entirely and put it to the latest patch before trying again.

Hope this works for ya.

Log onto the World of Warcraft server normally with no model edit MPQ's in your Data file. The game will patch automatically. 2.3.3 is the most recent patch status for WoW, and this is the Model Edit Fix for it.

Maybe if you gave more details that would help further. If it's a general question of not being able to get onto WoW at all, regardless of cheats/modelchanging installed, head over to WoW Support forum.
