WoW Model Edit Fix 2.4.3

Hey guys,

Patch 2.4.3 has just come round the corner, and with it comes an update to the WoWME tool that is required for bypassing Blizzard modelchanging restrictions and to load up any MPQ archives.

As before, see previous issues of the thread for any hints on getting it to work. Especially this topic: 2.4.2 Model Edit Fix Thread which is the previous version that was altered dramatically to address the enhanced Blizzard scanning.

i cant get it to work, im sure i did everything right but when i load wow with the exe it just loads as if there were no model edits in data and i wa just loading wow with the official program.

It is possible to replace the model file on a Tauren with that of an Undead Forsaken model. It is not possible to specifically import the Undead dance routine onto a Tauren, but switching the model file will switch animations.

I really appreciate that you shared the latest Model Edit fix with us. I used to do it sometimes in the past but forgot about it for this WoW version. Perhaps you can also publish that for later versions :-). I uploaded the wow model edit fix into our database and placed a link to it in your post.

Modelchanging is really the part of the "wild side" of WoW gaming that I feel more secure with and enjoy the most. Enhancing game aesthetics by displaying Elwynn Forest as a wintry scene, or wielding Thunderfury to replace a mage dagger possibly matters to me more than going on bugged private servers and hacking for insta-kill crits. As a result I'm keeping alert on MMOwned and this other place Descipe for when any changes come round the corner, and importing a new version over here each time.
Not sure how feasible this will be with Wrath expansion however.

can this be used for official or are there any chances of being banned/suspended etc?
and will there soon be a 3.0.3 patch for this

as of 3.2 there are not many hacks still working in paid servers. bans are thick on my server. i would be interested to see a list of working hacks or bots even as of 3.2.
