Arrow Armor Editing

Armor Editing aka. DCB
First of all sorry if this goes in the wrong category
My pc is unable to take screenshots atm, sorry

Welcome to Armor editing, I will teach you how to make your ugly "Cruel Barb" look like "Thunderfury". First of all I highly sugest getting "Mozilla Firefox" cause it will make it alot easier. This type of editing works with armor, weapons I sugest not using it on items (banning risk). I've used this for 2years so you shouldn't get banned, but do it on your own risk.

Programs
:
Hex Editor or XVI32
Internet

Links:
http://wow.allakhazam.com/
hexadecimal conversion, convert decimal to hexadecimal

Downloads:
Hex Editor - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

Getting started:

Right lets get started open your internet (Mozilla etc.), and open Hex Editor aka. XVI32. With HE select:

File - Open - C:\Programs\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enGB - Open Itemcache.wdb Warning! do not open Itemnamecache.wdb

With Itemcache.wdb open go to Search - Find.. - Make sure all these are checked

Text String
Case Sensitive
Box should say E2
Scope From - Cursor
Direction - Down

With all checked write the name of the item you wanna change. I wanna change "Rugged Spaulders" into "
Vengeful Gladiator's Chain Spaulders" so I write Rugged Spaulders and click OK.

NOTE: If it doesnt find your armor try Search - Find again down or Find again up

When you've located your armor you must left click (in the right box) the last letter of the armor name, so for
"Rugged Spaulders" its the s. When thats done you should see in the middle box, 2 numbers blue marked. for "Rugged Spaulders" its "73" Then you should see some zeros, for "Rugged Spaulders" its 4 x 00. After that theres 2x 2numbers. Thoese numbers are deadly importen so write them down in word/notebad etc. Now you wanna go to your internet browser (Firefox) and open

http://wow.allakhazam.com/

Search for the armor you wanna make it look like, for me its
Vengeful Gladiator's Chain Spaulders. It should appear, press it. The page with the item should come up. Now under the stats of the item you should see

Item History, XML, Lite, TXT

Press XML, a new page should appear with alot of numbers. scrolldown until you find <displayinfo> Numbers
<displayinfo> copy the numbers in between for Vengeful Gladiator's Chain Spaulders its 46881. With the numbers copied go to the first webside

hexadecimal conversion, convert decimal to hexadecimal

In convert paste your numbers, for VGCS its 46881, and press
To hexadecimal

Some numbers and letters should appear, for VGCS its b721. Now you want them to change positions.

ABCB - CBAB b721 - 21b7

Memorize your numbers (21b7 for VGCS) and go to HE (Hex Editor) Write them into the 2 x 2 numbers after all the 000000. Save or Close down the program confirming the change (owerwrite the old itemcache.wdb) Logon and your armor should have changed

Note: The armor only changes looks for you, not other players
The deadly importen numbers can be used to change it back
