GameMaster Newbie Guide [Howto become a good GM]

Hello. I decide to create a Guide for newbies because I was kind of bored
Well here are some general requirements for the GameMaster job :

•Patience (you will need it a lot).
•Good knowledge of World of Warcraft
•Teamwork skill.
•Solve issues like harassment, insults, and racism etc.
•And very good social skills.

Ok when you've became a GameMaster you need to learn the commands , not all the commands because they're a lot but the general ones (you will learn the other commands in meantime).

Ok a very important things are the GameMaster Tickets.
Players submit a GameMaster ticket when they need help.
Probably when you will become a GM (GM means GameMaster ^^) you will need to do tickets.
First of all you need to `/join gm_sync_channel` to do tickets.
To get the list of tickets type : .gmt get
To read the tickets type : .gmt getid "player's name"
To delete the ticket after you're done type : .gmt delid "player's name"

General commands :

To kick a player from game type : .kick "player's name" "reason"
Example : .kick Johnny Spamming in LFG (Looking For Group channel)

To revive a player if hes dead type : .revive "player's name"
NOTE : You must click in his corpse (non-released spirit) and then revive.

To summon a player to you type : .summon "player's name"

To appear to a player type : .appear "player's name"

To teleport a player somewhere you want type : .recall portplayer "player's name" "wanted location"
Example : .recall portplayer Johnny Orgrimmar

To teleport yourself somewhere you want type : .recall port "wanted location"
Example : .recall port Orgrimmar

To level up a player or yourself type : .mod level "what level you want"
Example : .mod level 36
NOTE : You must target a player or yourself if you want to level up.

NOTE : When you wanna teleport somewhere you must type the location without space.
Example : .recall port gurubashiarena NOT gurubashi arena

To add an item to a player or to you type : .additem "item's ID"

There are 2 general types of GameMaster :

•A (a normal GameMaster which has access to almost all commands.)

•AZ (Administrator which has the access to all the commands.)

Quick Guide :

You're curious how's to be a GameMaster? Well it's very simple!!!!!
1.Download AC-Web Ultimate Repack 7.x (For the latest patch) here AC Web
2.Install it.
3.On the desktop click on "Server Control Panel".
4.Click "Start All".
5.4 Boxes will show up. Let them un-closed.
6.Change your realmlist in "set realmlist 127.0.0.1"
7.Login in-game with password : admin and account name : admin
NOTE : You will need .Net Framework if you want the server to work , download here Download details: .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)

There is a book and you can search all the ID's.
Like skill ID's , spell ID's , item ID's and others

Umm download Navicat then create a new connection at the connection ip put 127.0.0.1 the pw is ascent and go to logon and then accounts and u will see the line where are "AZ" then at tthe acc u created put "AZ" .. sorry didnt explained so detailed coz im bored to explain xD

How do you update the server to lastest patch? Btw great guide , very easy and the best guide I have seen so far.

Btw I downloaded navicat how do i get it connected i did as u said above but get the error "cannot connect to MySQl server on 127.0.0.1 (10061)"

Excelent guide and easy to use, only had one problem. i can get to the toon creaton page, but it just sais connected and won't lemme do anything. any tips for that one?

Fixed For future refurence go to control panel > start Mysql then open navicat while that is running

And Mech i general get this problem too generally i reopen wow and keep pressing enter until it works Dw it'll work

Hey just Start Apache from the ascent control panel then go to Iexplorer and type in - 127.0.0.1 then there will be create account there :p hope this helps
