Rep Power: 1 | | | I'm sorry but as things are right now, my plans to update to 8681 or even 8714 client have been postoned indeffenetly, I simply don't have the knowledge needed to fix up server to support the newer client's, but if someone figures out how to make it work I'll update my patch to support the newer client's.
Simply put I have come across no fixes for server supporting the newer clients that deal with spell casting (spellcasting isn't functioning), so I see no reason to update patch file to support a client, when it leaves the server with a non functioning spell casting system.
But I continue to work on 8634 server, and there are quite a lot of spell fixes in it by now (thanks to rastikzzz and a few others). |

i get an error when i execute ad.exe file that says at ~ 40% "error unhandled map chunk 9999999 (some numbers anyway).i execute ad.exe again because i want the latest maps from patch 8714.Any solution for this error?  |

Take a look in your command table in mangos database (the SQL database mangos), there you'll find all the commands.

You can grab the patch file here: http://www.d3scene.com/forum/wow-private-server-info-help/16478-wotlk-mangos-patch-zilver.html Note you only need the latest: Rev_12 series is for 8634 client, so if you are using 8634 client get Rev_12.4.3 Rev_14 series is for 9825 client, so if you want to experiment with the 8714 client the grab Rev_14.1.DEV (Rev_14.DEV hasn't got all the features 8643 got, things broke or aren't supported in new server (fixes is needed, than I don't know how to make)). Edit: had a few typo's in the releases, info updated here, new fixed version's are the ones stated above now. Edit2: Kind of sad UDB didn't release 359 yet... really looking forward to getting a DB upgrade to 2.4.3 (even thou it might not be 100% 2.4.3 updated), but eta is around 4 - 5 hours from now.

Rep Power: 1 | | | After getting everything working (finally!.. tried like 3 different repacks) i just have a couple of questions.. is there no mobs in eastern plaguelands or northrend? i got all excited about starting my DK and went to go kill some things to try it out.. but nothing to kill.. is there some thing i must trigger within the sql? also i noticed that the quests are autocompleting.. ex- the DK quest to get the rune sword.. it says you must get a beat up sword from the wall and take it to a rune forge.. but as soon as i hit accept quest.. it marked it as complete and gave me my sword. is all the stuff not implemented yet?. Thanks for the working repack.. but would like to have a little more fun ^_^ |
