Thanks for the help, .tele dalaran worked out for me.

Now I can get to Northrend, but there are no npc's or enemies. Now maybe I just missed something in this thread, and its supposed to be like that, but if not, any ideas?

When i double click on the ad.exe inside the wotlk folder, it gets an error and has to close before it can make the two folders i need.

i am new to this wotlk things so i have a question, what shall i do when i get this errors:

i a runing build 8714 and i use the latest patch from Zilver

and when i shall start upp mangosd.exe it says its missing some thing and that it is 59 instead of 60...

i also use morgiens repack

i have wow , tbc, and wotlk all installed yet when i use the game as a DeathKnight it says i have to have TBC installed the tbc build i have is 2.4.3 how do i get this set straight so it will see that i have TBC installed ?

i got it fixed i should have thought of that but was having a Brain cramp but i did it diff started my sql and opened my realmd with navicat and went to the account table and changed it there thanks for jaring my memory for me

should have thought of that before posting here and bugging y'all with it lol

just wanna say AWESOME details.. but i am having a problem some others have detialed before.
i am using 8770 server with your repack everything works wonders.. but none of the northrend enemies/portals/instances work.. not even borean tundra . i had no errors during the dmb and maps extraction.. is there a sql file with the details in them or maps for me to download to fix this?

I try to make the new connection but it wont let me connect because because i have no sql server.

I saw sk8punk had the same problem but i don't feel like having to download mangos if i can just use navicat.

im a little bit confused, so we download the beta client, put it in its own folder, then run the repack maps in that folder, cut/paste them back to the repack folder. got that part. now i have navicat 8.0 but is their any other program that i'll need?

I have taken setup the server step by step following your guide and everytime i try to connect it says Unable to connect.
I have also port forward around my fire wall and it still is saying Unable to connect.
Please help

Yep i have done everything i can think of doing. Even if i type random stuff it still says unable to connect. I even tried looking at other guides and nothing is working

I've read every post on this thread, and I've been working on this for more than 12 hours, and I'm just about to give up.

I'm getting the message you get about DBC errors. 2 from 55, one has 59 when it should be 60, and one has 6 instead of 5.

I read what someone said about reinstalling the beta client and trying all the later steps again, so I did that. I deleted the entire beta file and installed it all over again. Same error. I opened the WoW client and saw that I was on version x.x.xx22, when I needed to be at x.x.xx36 or something, so I used the launcher to update one patch up to the correct version, and still the same error.

I've done everything exactly like the guide says, and I did everything everyone tried to fix this problem (since I wasn't the only one), but I still get the same error.

I'm concerned because even though I am at the correct version, I have 6 instead of 5 of the correct something-or-others, which means I'm too ahead, but that can't be true.



If someone could post a link to a download of the two files: ChrClasses.dbc and SpellRuneCost, my problem could be fixed.

i have downloaded this re-pack for the wrath beta and i have the latest patch and it works but there are a few problems that i have that i was wondering if anyone could help me out with

the first problem is even though i have a 55+ char i can't create a dk

the second is that everything in the game is working just fine until you get to Northrend (also boats don't seem to work either atleast not the ones that head to northrend) but i used the .tele command to teleport myself to dallaran and well its like empty nothing there and in some places there are holes in the floor and when venturing further into northrend i found that there wern't any npc's at all no mobs no nothing and the same with dallaran there seemed to be peices of the map missing, also in northrend things that should of had a mouse over effect like road signs didn't neither did the mailboxs but the ones every were outside of northrend worked fine

if anyone could help that would be awsome .

Hi all, first I want to thank you for this great tutorial

I have the same problem as many people : Some required *.dbc files (2 from 55) not found or not compatible:
./dbc/ChrClasses.dbc (exist, but have 59 fields instead 60) Wrong client version DBC file?
./dbc/SpellRuneCost.dbc (exist, but have 6 fields instead 5) Wrong client version DBC file?

So, i tried the solution someone posted. I reinstalled WotLK and used ad.exe to get the maps et the dbc. Then i upgraded my version of WotLk to 8634 wich i think is compatible with the repack. But i still have this error when I open mangos.exe

I'm running the french beta of WotLK, is it why it doesn't work?

repack for 8788, but you need to use 8770 dbcs.
