I see that other in the topic ask for this but when i run mangosd it says to me

Some required *.dbc files (2 from 55) not found or not compatible:
./dbc/ChrClasses.dbc (exist, but have 60 fields instead 59) Wrong client version DBC file?
./dbc/SpellRuneCost.dbc (exist, but have 5 fields instead 6) Wrong client version DBC file?

No way is the wrong patch i reinstalled WOTLK and patched at 8634 version like its written somewhere in the topic but it didnt works...Dunno what to do could u help me?

EDIT: First time i did it with the last patch it didnt work but with 2 different DBC files... wish it can help...

You would like to test this out, reasons why this is bad.
1. If Blizzard doesn't make money = no more games by Blizzard!
2. You are not special, everyone is special, don't boast.
2.5. This will make you a nerd, If you want to be called Nerd for the rest of you're life, go ahead.
3. If you buy it, the chain reaction begins, Blizzard get your money = new game = you buy it = more games.
You are breaking this cycle, Blizzard dosen't get your money = no more games = you are sad, = you find a new way to entertain yourself, mabye cup-and-ball? = Blizzard goes bankrupt,
also, SOOOOOOOOOO many more people play the real server than the private server.
Don't say "I know that but this is so much cooler" because 20% have tried a private server, More that 50% of people have heard of private servers, the rest are noobs

But I am not totaly against this, there is also a good side to this,
1. Now you are special, all your friends will like you, = you are happy.
and 2. D3's Biggest section wouldn't exist today if the cycle wasn't broken,

So yea, oh and don't be so mean, also don't be a newb, get your rep up by posting guides, need help, FAQ

EDIT: OMG i resolved the problem downloading some dbc files and now when i run woltk it says "unable to validate game version" O_O (i have 8634)

How can I set up the server so I can play with others on my network? I have the server working and running on my computer with the default settings from the guide. After changing the realmlist.wtf on the client to my computers IP and try connecting. They can login but when they try connecting to the game server, it won't connect.

Why is this?

Probabily u should use a dinamic ip... Try using dyndns and making your own and use it for the realmlist! Not sure it works but maybe...

I see, well that's for anyone who wants to login to my server outside of my network. I'm talking about people connecting to my server on my network.

So the server IP is 192.168.0.2, then the client is 192.168.0.3, the client can connect to the server but can't connect to the game server.

EDIT: I also tried setting up a dyndns but I'm lost on what I'm suppose to do.

I don't know how to solve the problem of the network but i can try to explain how to setup the dyndns...

First go to http://www.dyndns.org
Click on create an account and follow the registration
They will send u a confermation mail, wait for it and confirm your registration
Log-in, click on my services on the left of the screen and, in Host Services, click add new hostname.
Select your hostname, host with Ip adress and "Use auto detected IP adress"
Click on create host
Download the DynDNS updater and install it
Start it and log in with your dyndns account, then the updater will detect your hostname and update it; click ok and it will minimize in the tray icon... Then u need only to modify the realmlist with your hostname and it should work!

I have enGB version and it works fine with 8770... Try exctracting the DBC files of that version

Guys,the "wrong client version DBC file" means you have the wrong patch on wotlk, patched too far up with blizz's downloader.They came out with 1 big patch that takes you up too far.What version do you have at the bottom left when you start up wotlk?

GOW i seriously need help with MySQL about installing the server and navicat on how to connect to my server please ive googled it sooo many times and i got shit so please help me if you can i die'n here

Ok ive created a checklist for all of you people receiving errors during your setup process

1. Make sure you use ad.exe to extract the DBC folder from Build 8770 and than the maps from Build 8788
1.5 If you didn't understand what 1 meant, than update your client to Build 8770 and use the ad.exe in the WotLK folder until it gets up to the extracting maps part than close it and copy the DBC folder to the Mogrein WotLK folder. Now update to Build 8788 and use the ad.exe and let it finish, than copy only the MAPS folder to the Mogrein WotLK folder, ignore the DBC folder.
2. Make sure you run ad.exe as administrator. If you don't know how, right-click it and press run as administrator. This helps avoid writing errors due to permission privileges
3. When you've done all this follow mogrein's guide EXACTLY how he has stated it
4. If you get the unhandled map error thing while extracting the 8788 maps, don't worry the game will still run
5. Hope this helps because im playing the game now XD. I got this information from my knowledge and reading this page of Mogrein's Repack thread [REPACK] WotLK MaNGOS Compiled by Mogrein

P.S. Being a huge WoW fan and a very eager person to play WotLK to its maximum potential urgently, i was wondering how do you do this Mogrein because I'd like to help expand this REPACK by adding as much NPC's as possible and adding as much WotLK content as possible, however i asked how first so i could know if it was possible for me XD. I have set everything up according to the instructions and have patched WOTLK after installation and on the first patch it patched up to 8820, this may not be the latest patch but the repack requires 8634 (where could I get this patch) without this patch everytime I launch the Realmd and Mangosd it gives me the error "application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Would the patch be the problem or is there something im not overseeing (I have already seen all your tips on the set tbc1 and press enter etc)

Still wanna know how to edit the NPC's and stuff coz im thinking of starting up my own server , but not WotLK, too buggy now lol

P.S. anyone have list of Item and spell ID's, and also, does anyone know how to get into an instance without being in a group as a GM, because ive tried .tele blacktemple but it just ports me outside the instance entrance...but i wanna go in T_T XP

It say cannot connect to database on localhost..then my realmd.exe and mangosd.exe also say that.

How do I fix this?

make sure you have MySQL open and the username and password match for all the config files
i.e. username = root & password is whatever you have made it for MySQL

if this isnt clear, just redo the whole guide from the navicat onwords and use the MySQL from the AC ultimate repack which would make the username= root & the password = ascent

Damn. I downloaded the enUS Beta Client since I have the US version of WoW. Well when I try to install it i get an error at 50%. Tried to download the client again and everything but doesn't seem to work. Did anybody else experience that? And if so how can i fix the error?

maybe... you didn't name your DB mangos but something else? Check for typing errors xD
