I had the same problem as you first described, i found some kind of fix on another forum.

I made two different SQL files to be loaded into Mangos DB in Navicat.

File 1 had
Code:
ALTER TABLE `item_template`
ADD COLUMN `unk_flag1` mediumint(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0' AFTER stat_value10;
File 2 had
Code:
ALTER TABLE `item_template`
ADD COLUMN `test1` mediumint(10) unsigned NOT NULL default '0' AFTER stat_value10;
and that seemed to work.


However, i have some problems with this repack, first of all whenever i create a character and log out, or exit the game to come back later it hasnt saved my character at all or just a bit.
For example, i made a Tauren Warrior, played around with him for 5 minutes, making him level 70, gave him money, bags and so on.
I exited and came back 3 hours later to continue but found out that hes back at Level 1 where i started!

The same thing happened when i had a rogue at 70 that i had pimped out in every single way, whenever i logged or exited and went back in all bags where gone and all items in them, the only things left where the items in the backpacks and my money.
Also, when playing this rogue i noticed something i have found on some forum posts, i cannot dual wield on a class that should be able to!
My old repack of 8885 works perfect but this new one of 9014 does not, any ideas why this is?

FDB V5 is the right database to use now?

I got everything right. But when I start the Mangos Server it stops loading at "Loading Items". I keep getting the Error: "Error in item_template table, probably sql file format was updated (there should be 142 fields in sql)".

How do i fix that error?

Add this SQL to your DB

also you may need to update your characters DB, so use this SQL
