I tried entering my IP address and nothing. Still says unable to connect and the restarter keeps blinking the cmd screen.

I did see something interesting. the very first cmd screen that pops up briefly shows something Denied dont know what it is =\

winrar is a good program to use to openn the rar files.

hello Im new here and I would love to get a private server and I give you my thanks for doing this! But my question is that I have gotten to the part right here..

4 - Now go into C:/Mangos/tools and you will find SQLog.exe push it and follow the wizard

-I can not find the SQLog.exe in the mangos/tools folder. Thanks in advance and sorry if soemone answered this already. Yes I did put the SDB text into the mangos/sql folder.

Hmmmm, is anyone with knowledge looking at this post? i see there is alot of confused people on the guide, and im not suprised, alot of the file names and stuff are named incorrectly which causes confusion. I have managed however to overcome these problems but i have my own, after completing the guide properly..

My restarter blinks on an off every couple of seconds so i dont hear any beep, and also if i try to connect to my server it says 'Unable to connect' and if i try to connect to another private server it says 'this account is not valid for the burning crusade' :S...

[b]you can see that you got 'areatrigger_involvedrelation' this happens when you start executing and abort then try again.. or uinstalling but not uinstalling it all before reinstalling..[/b]

Nr 1 the names of the files is correct pls note a name that is wrong....
Nr 2 it simply looks like you missed a step.. i have now posted a video in the guide so that even the worst reader can make it..

check dberrors in your mangos folder... what does it say?

pls note that not all the files you can remove from controlpanel.. some of the files is in folders in program files like Mysql and SQLyog
the folder for mangos is in \C... so be sure cause it happens to me too when i forget to uinstall something..

I meant to word the last reply like this.

If my brother plays on on his computer and uses my paid account with blizzard. And I use my own computer can I access the private server without him getting kicked off blizards server?

Got a new error this time.
While trying to install the mangos server, when it gets to the part of extracting maps I get a Debug Error!.
Program: C:/Mangos/tools/ad.ex
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unual way.


I downloaded it again but the problem Debug Error is still popping . I uninstalled and reinstalled everything at least 3 times lol..

I will wait for your reply back as I am now stuck

im going to break something .........ive got up to ( right click on MANGOS database in SQLyog, ( u then select IMPORT BATCH FILE and select SDB.SQL from C:/MANGOS/SQL/ and import it (just click OK) Execute)




then i get this error twice...(i reinstalled and tryed again)....

um i get the same problome but see their never was a restarter on my desktop but i found the auto restarter and if thats what you mean its called like mangosrarr and it just starts and closes starts and closes i would really like help on this i cant figure out how to get it to work i have errors in my server log but does that matter?


Also while doing that exucute SDB_0.6.4_FULL.rar im guessing thats the base but it gave me same error it said someting but maybe this is why i cant start server without it doing the log off on thing?

fisrt i wish to say thx for this simple guide that works!!
second i wish to ask if it's possible to create a raid group with only the gm or if it is possible to modify the instance to enter with the gm alone because i was stopped when tried to enter somewhere like ahn'qiraj, naxxramass..

to enter raid instances like naxx push .gmon then go in, you can easy take of gmstatus after you enter by typing .gmoff

ok! i fxied one thing i dint exstract the rar file SDB but now i have another problome it STILL when i click restarter it just flashes on and off every two seconds and it im guesssing does get to 100% but i cant see it cause it goes so fast here is what i found in an Server notepad...

To me this is telling me i have wrong version of mangos but the rar SDB.SQL you sent me too.. in their comments it said you needed mangos 3540 or something in that range and The link you posted sent me to mangos 3000 do you think maybe i need to update? What can i do here?
If you've gotten that error then you missed a step in the installation process. You did not choose MANGOS as the database before you imported the SDB.SQL file. On the lefthand side you should see the databases with Icons that look like discs stacking on eachother. Select the one that says MANGOS and then right click on it and go to import batch file in the drop down menu, then go to the C:Mangos\sql folder and select SDB.SQL.....that should fix the error problem and begin extracting the database.

Well im not tryn to be mean but i relised what i did wrong was I didnt have a winrar extractar you dint add that in their=( i just thought it was all ready extrated then i found out it said rar at the end so.. lol so just tryn to help ^^ any one who gets same problome as me
