well SQLYOG user and pass should be lowercase root root (dunno if that matters :/) but as for the MySQL, i am not sure, try going into the johved repack file, then go to configs, right click arcemu-logonserver, and click edit.
Find:

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
Username = "root"
Password = "root"
Name = "characters"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">
Make sure the username and password there are both the same as the user and pass in SQLYOG
Other than that, I am not rlly sure.

Yes it is working fine , now all i need to know is how to make it public, as in what do i change my realmlist to if i needto and what do the people that wat to connect need to change it too, and do they have to download anything thanks very much

I do all steps . all are OK . But when i run start database.bat just said me press any key for continue ...
I have .Net 3.5 and do all steps
what i should do ?

I have same problem as the last guy here, but nothing happens, press any key for continue and nothing

Could it be because I have windows xp, and not vista? .Net 3.5 and all the other are in order
