This is a discussion on GM Commands within the WoW Private Server Info & Help forum part of the WoW forum category; Anyone here know what's the GM command for broadcasting throughout the whole world? Something like, posting a message for everyone ...

GM Commands

Anyone here know what's the GM command for broadcasting throughout the whole world? Something like, posting a message for everyone to see, was looking for the command for it, thx

I belive you can type .announce or .wannounce if you're a GM.
One of them will only be shown in the chat, and the other one will only show up on the middle of your screen.

Try to use .commands for alot of other commands :wink:

.Announce will show up on the chat thing

.wannounce will up show in your screen in the middle

Duece,if you want to be a gm for Mangos go into Sqlyog and go to where you made your account.Then put and number in the gm box oin your account slot.
For antrix go to navicat.then Antrix,Antrix inside that.Then click accounts on the table.Then put az in the gm slot

Thx a lot Cat- & Xerion, however, when i type .command to show a list of command, it doesn't state the command regarding this >.>:cheesy:

Ermmm, Cat- & Xerion, i just tried out the command, and only for ( .announce ) worked, but it appears as System Message: ( Message ), how do i display the message there like "<GM>Test: Hello Everyone"??? I wanted to show the gm name who type it out there, and 1 more thing, .wannounce doesnt work, any help?

So.. If i understand you correct.. you want the <GM> - tag, in front of your name when you're talking?

Try out this command:

I was using those 2 commands with my GM tag on:-

a) without my gm tag---> both commands dont work.
b.) with gm tag on -----> only .announce work, but it appear at bottom left without the name who broadcast, example: when i type .broadcast Hello, it appeared as "System: Hello" Need help on this part.
c.) .wannounce doesn't work in both condition ( with gm tag or without ).

No, the command is .gmon.

Also it's .waccounce.
