I am posting this around to see if anyone can help out with this...

I recently got into the whole compiling my own server thing, doing so made so many bgs go away it was great - however one major bug has come up and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it....

If someone falls through the world and releases they cant move, naturally they relog to try and fix it but this causes the server to crash, I dont get any error reports or anything all that happens is I get a windows debug box come up that asks me to "abort" "retry" or "cancel" any ideas?

I never had this issue, so don't know exactly how to fix it (maybe someone else here have experienced this and have a solution).

But since you are new to compilind just wanted to make sure you know about scriptdev2 & acid: http://forums.scriptdev2.com/index.php this might not solve your problem, but will make server run more blizzlike.

Edit: I have seen a few reports that 8714 patch will work with 8770 client, just a need to change client check in the server, so I'll look into this tonight and release a Patch (Rev_15.DEV) for 8770 if this is true.

TOM_RUS's sandbox works with 8770, only .go and .gps are a bit buggy and dont work sometimes.
Haven't checked if server works yet. Doing so now.

All Versions work fine! 8714 and other Versions like 8770 can play together after you changed the Client Revs in Mangos

On 8714 / 8770 DKs are GREY, so you cant use any Deathknights. Is that a known problem?
