[Question] Half red circle

Hey my friend have a Xbox 360 Arcade and we tryed to play GTA 4 Online but after like 10 min of the game running the xbox crash and it's doing an half red circle. But it's not doing it with any other game. Is it normal, is it because it's the xbox 360 arcade or it's not normal ?

Does he have carpet and if he does, does he leave it on carpet because that will overheat.

It couldnt be a newer one because they remade them and none of the new ones do it anymore i had mine for a year then it had red ring of death and then i sent it back for 30 long days and i got a new one and it hasnt done it for 2 years because im being alot more careful with this one.

Microsoft has a guide on how to fix this but if all fail then just send it back for a month or so. Heres the guide hope it helps Xbox 360: Two red lights flash on the Ring of Light.

it overheated and some of the solder balls under the GPU or CPU chip has come loose eitherway its hard to fix by yourself
<edit>BTW: dont put your xbox on tight places and it is better to play your xbox on the side not vertical and try lifting the powersupply too it overheats too sometimes...
