Miscellaneous xBox 360 Reviews

The xBox 360 gaming console is by far the best one I have ever played. All the game graphics are a few steps up from that of a Playstation 2. The controllers are all nice and easy to use, and the dashboard is great. The console, though, crashes a lot. Some games don't work correctly and freeze quite a bit, if your system isn't in a very well ventilated area, you have a high chance of getting Red Rings of Death, which are a symbol that your console needs some heavy-duty maintenance. All in all, I would say the 360 to be a very nice console, easy to use, lots of fun, popular games, and not as expensive as its competitor, the Playstation 3.

Now, on to the games!

Gears of War 2:

Gears 2 is, in MY opinion, a great game. The graphics are really good, not life-like, but good. The plot-line is ridiculously difficult and there are so many levels you will be playing forever. The aiming could use a little help and the movement is lacking, but still a great game. The monsters you kill release so much blood that sometimes its hard to see, but if you like slasher games, than this is a positive aspect. Overall, I give this game an 8.5 out of 10.

Fable 2:

Fable 2 is a monster game. There are so many options, like going evil, good, pure, corrupt, who your friends are, who your enemies are, which houses to buy, where to invest, and much more. The plot line of the game is lacking, but even after you beat it there is still so much you can do. The graphics are slightly weak, but the great gameplay makes up for it. There are tons of side quests, (In fact - they never end!) and you can earn money by doing jobs and completing tasks for various people. The controls are easy, there is auto-aiming with ranged weapons which makes shooting a breeze, and you can even completely customize your characters looks and personality from the minute you start the game. This game gets a 10 from me.

Halo 3

A good game, but not all its hyped up to be. There is a huge variety of maps, weapons, vehicles, and user customization, but the graphics could definitely use help, as with all the Halo games. The controls are nice and smooth, and if you don't think so, there are many ways to edit them. The multiplayer capabilities in this game are intense, and I could play online for hours. Only downside is you need to download large map packs to play on some game modes. Overall, 8/10.

The Orange Box

This package includes the three best FPS games for xbox 360 ive ever played. Portal is intensely fun, but very challenging at the same time. The controls are very simple, the graphics are great, and a very long gameplay. In case some of you do not know, this is where "the cake is a lie" came from. I won't spoil this epicness for you. Half Life 2 is very good. It has a wide variety of tasks able to be completed, as well as weapons and options. Gameplay is good, story is long, controls are easy. Team Fortress 2 is the exact same as playing it online, except graphics are amazing. It has the same controls as any FPS games. Overall, 9.5 out of 10.

Two Worlds
Not even worth getting. Graphics suck, control is horrible, gameplay is bad, and the story line... ugh. People talk ridiculously, I cant even understand them. I give it a 1 for effort.

And yea, a lot of my friends have been saying they like CoD4 better than world at war.

i got it fixed by MS and i modded it to be RRoD proof o.o i installed a whisper fan inside and got another fan on the sidepanel lol
